A visit to the gallery is the basis of not only an intellectual knowledge. The stand of the contemporary art is named after the modern sculpture founder - Ján Koniarek. Except for the premises of Koppel‘s Villa, a historically valuable building that was built and later, in 1910, reconstructed, for the family of the Trnava business man Koppla. The Gallery of Ján Koniarek also administrates the building of the Synagogue Status Quo Ante, which thanks to the art and exhibitions of the Gallery of Ján Koniarek creates the centre of contemporary art. In addition to permanent exhibitions, the Gallery of Ján Koniarek offers a rich programme throughout the year and brings works of artists from all over the world of various age categories. Whether it is a classic or modern and young art, it is definitely worth your visit.
