Airport gateways
Choose the gateway that fits your guests: Bratislava and Vienna are the principal starting points, with Brno and Budapest adding alternatives for a wider international itinerary.

Bratislava Airport · the nearby gateway
Bratislava Airport (BTS) is the closest of the four airports shown on our access map. Its connection to the D1 makes an arranged road transfer a practical option for groups. For independent travellers, bus 61 links the airport with Bratislava Main Station, where the journey can continue by train to Trnava.
Vienna Airport · a wider choice of arrivals
Vienna Airport (VIE) is an important alternative when comparing flight schedules for international guests. Arrange a direct transfer to the chosen venue, or check the airport’s current bus connections to Bratislava and continue with an appropriate onward connection. An airport bus does not necessarily stop at Bratislava Main Station: verify the complete interchange.
Brno and Budapest · alternatives with a purpose
Brno (BRQ) and Budapest (BUD) can be useful when a particular flight or a multi-country itinerary fits the group better. Their longer onward journeys should be weighed against the flight advantage. Compare the whole door-to-door journey, including arrival time, baggage, coach availability and the final destination in the region.
Road times: a planning reference
The access map currently indicates approximately 35–50 minutes from BTS, 75–90 from VIE, 125–150 from BRQ and 180–220 from BUD to the Trnava reference point by road. These are indicative driving ranges, not a transfer guarantee. Add time for baggage, meeting the driver, traffic and travel to a rural venue.
Make a group arrival feel effortless
Collect flight numbers, terminal information, luggage requirements and an emergency contact before arranging the transfer. For guests on different flights, decide whether to use one shared pickup or smaller arrivals. Agree the meeting point, waiting arrangements, suitable vehicle and the destination’s drop-off point with the transport provider.
Let the first evening match the journey
After a short transfer, a gentle city welcome and dinner may fit well. After a long flight or a longer drive, keep the first evening lighter and begin the main programme the next day. The access map, accommodation directory and one-day city idea below help turn the arrival into the beginning of the stay.
