The Vineyard Cycling Circuit connects Trnava with villages, vineyards and countryside below the Little Carpathians. It is a natural starting point for a guided active programme with local stops.
Choose the right loop
The official route offers three loops: 32.5 km, 52.8 km and 67.8 km. Much of the riding uses field, gravel and service roads; some sections pass through villages or cross public roads.
Turn the ride into an incentive
Arrange suitable bicycles, a guide, support and a café or producer stop. Select distance and surfaces for the participants and keep tastings separate from the riding programme. Use the official route page for current maps and details.
A route through living wine country
Use the official Vineyard Cycling Circuit as the starting point for selecting a loop, then choose one meaningful village stop. Suchá nad Parnou and the Orešany villages connect the ride with the wider wine story; Dolná Krupá and Smolenice open up garden and heritage themes. Follow the published route information rather than joining map pins with an assumed cycle path.
A ride and a tasting are two separate chapters
Arrange the cycling first, followed by a meal and a tasting once the bicycles are put away. For a business group, offer a shorter ride and a longer guided option with a common finish. Confirm hire, suitable bike type, support and transfers with suppliers. The winery directory helps choose a producer; it does not indicate unrestricted cycling access through vineyards.
