The experience
Trnava’s story did not stop at the town walls. Northwest of the centre, mills, silos and factories reveal the energy of industrial expansion and modern architecture. The official route introduces the sugar refinery, automatic mill, vinegar works and Figaro factory, together with housing and villas associated with industry. This is a walk about production, design and everyday life: an unexpected counterpoint to church towers, showing how a working town grew around its historic heart.
