The experience
A first encounter with Trnava is best enjoyed on foot. Follow a guide through streets shaped by merchants, university life and centuries of civic ambition. The official offer introduces the town fortifications, the Town Tower and the historic university buildings, with possible stops at the Town Hall’s west wing, a bastion or the medieval charnel house. Instead of a checklist of façades, expect connections between the places and the people who gave them meaning.
