The experience
Wine helped shape Trnava long before today’s tasting rooms. This tour follows the connection between trade, prosperity and the town’s architectural heritage, taking in the Basilica of St Nicholas and the Cathedral of St John the Baptist. The finale moves into the historic cellar of the Town Hall’s west wing, where local wine brings the story into the present. It is a city encounter designed to end in conversation, with the guide sharing the pleasures and challenges of wine culture.
